The excellent Brotte eau-de-vie  is made from the "marc" or wine press cakes of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Following a patient distillation in copper stills, the "marc" is then slowly matured in small oak barrels previously used for the making of cognac. 

    This powerful nectar, full of character and finesse, shows aromas of fruit, vanilla and toast.

    Barville, the name we have given it, honours the Barville ancestors of our Châteauneuf-du-Pape family.
